Gary Ponder, 24, who beat a chef to death following an argument started by a restaurant's refusal to accept an old-

style 5p piece, was jailed for six years. Ponder, of Orpington, Kent, was cleared of murder but found guilty of manslaughter on the grounds of provocation.
