'A WORLD fair for a fair world' is the theme of Global Partnership '93, supported by the Independent and New Internationalist, at Olympia in London this weekend.

The centrepiece is an exhibition of the work of charities and voluntary organisations concerned with development, human rights, education and health.

The Global Christmas Market has a wide range of ethnic products for sale, and the presents you can buy will help to provide work and a fair return for Third World producers. There will be lectures, discussions, live music, videos, events for children and a dramatic exhibition of Zimbabwean stone sculpture to raise funds for the conservation of black rhinos.

Global Partnership '93 runs today from 11am to 7pm and tomorrow from 11am to 5pm. Entrance pounds 4, concessions pounds 2.
