A re-enactment of the battle of Powick Bridge, near Worcester, to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the start of the Civil War. Nineteen of the 1,000 people taking part were injured; five were treated in hospital. In the real battle - the first serious engagement of the Civil War - the Parliamentarians tried to force a passage across the Severn but were beaten back by royalist cavalry under Prince Rupert.
