Lizzie Lamplugh, sister of the missing estate agent Suzy Lamplugh, escaped from a French air force deserter who tried to steal her car to use in a suicide crash, Oxford Crown Court was told yesterday. Antony Bourgois, from Bologne, had absconded from his base in France last December. Bourgois pleaded guilty to falsely imprisoning Miss Lamplugh. The case was adjourned for assessments of Bourgois's mental state.
