Aircraft crash kills four
A pilot and three passengers were killed when a light aircraft crashed soon after takeoff from Birmingham airport.
The privately owned six-seater, which was heading for the Isle of Man, came down in a field at Walsall, West Midlands, just yards from the M6. It narrowly missed a school and housing estate. There were not thought to be any casualties on the ground.
