Aircraft scare

The Civil Aviation Authority is investigating how a British Midland DC-9 carrying 106 passengers from Heathrow to Edinburgh fell 26,000 feet in under three minutes after a loss of cabin pressure. In a separate incident, a Lufthansa airbus burst two tyres landing at Heathrow, blocking a runway for several hours.
