A21-year-old man was charged with various offences following the theft of an ambulance while its crew was attending a suspected heart attack victim at a social club in Uckfield, East Sussex. Jason Murphy, of Oxted, Surrey, was bailed to appear before magistrates at Uckfield on 3 February, accused of taking the ambulance, drink driving, driving while disqualified and with no insurance.
