An article 'Army man helped to plan Irish bombings' in the Independent on 3 July, suggested that a Yorkshire Television programme would be examining allegations that explosions in 1974 were planned for the same day as a vote in the Dail on anti-terrorist legislation. These allegations, in fact, referred to an earlier explosion in 1972.
