Shoppers applauded when PC Siobhan Clark arrested a man who had doused a supermarket with petrol and threatened to burn it down because they thought she was filming the television series The Bill, the Old Bailey was told. Kevin Philo, 35, was jailed for 21 months after admitting attempted arson at the store in Wimbledon, south-west London.
