Jane Watts, a teacher from Ferndown, Dorset, charged with indecently assaulting a 13-year-old schoolboy faces a possible retrial after a jury failed to reach a verdict.

Mrs Watts, 47, claimed the boy, a former pupil, had raped her. A jury at Winchester Crown Court cleared her of one charge of indecent assault, but failed to reach a verdict on a second charge.
