Bank dismissal 'fair'

An assistant bank manager who withdrew pounds 3,250 from the account of a couple in their nineties lost his claim for unfair dismissal. The industrial tribunal in Woburn said the relationship between the couple and Mike Potts, 39, based at the National Westminster bank in Kenton, north London, was a 'dangerous one'.
