A council investigation was launched after workmen boarded up a house in Bradford, West Yorkshire, with the tenant's body inside. Neighbours thought Bryan Lawler, 59, who lived alone, had moved to a single-room flat until his sister asked where he was.

Mr Lawler is thought to have died from hypothermia, and police say there are no suspicious circumstances.
