Army experts defused a bomb containing 1 1/2 lb of explosive which was found under a children's climbing frame in a playground in Carnan, near Stewartstown, Co Tyrone. Security forces believe IRA terrorists abandoned the bomb in a hurry fearing they had been spotted.
