TWO soldiers were injured yesterday in a bomb attack in west Belfast. Two home-made devices in glass jars were thrown at an Army and police patrol at White Rock Road. One exploded, causing minor injuries to the soldiers and badly damaging a number of houses. The patrol fired several shots and arrested one person. A number of residents and two soldiers were treated for shock. Bomb disposal experts were dealing with the unexploded device.
