A boy who was brain damaged at birth could receive up to pounds 15m compensation under a settlement agreed at the High Court yesterday. David Merryweather, 13, of Peterborough, was awarded pounds 1.15m, most of which will be invested to provide income. North West Anglia Health Authority admitted liability.
