A six-year-old boy was crushed to death when he tried to climb on to the trailer of a steam traction engine at a fun day at Exminster Primary School, near Exeter, Devon.

CORRECTION

In Monday's edition, it was incorrectly stated that a six-year-old boy was crushed to death by a steam traction engine at a fun day at Exminster Primary School, near Exeter, Devon. In fact the boy was not seriously hurt. We apologise for the error.
