Police have recovered the body of Alan Binns, 10, who died after falling into an ice-covered pond.

Alan was playing with friends on the pond at Walkden, Salford, Greater Manchester, when he fell through thin ice on Saturday.

Emergency services were unable to find him but police divers later retrieved the body.
