A boy was yesterday remanded in custody until 25 March after an incident in which a replica Beretta handgun was allegedly pointed at a schoolteacher. The 16-year-old appeared before Sunderland youth court accused of affray and possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause an indictable offence.
