Two 10-year-old boys pleaded not guilty at Liverpool Crown Court to the abduction and murder of James Bulger, aged two. They also denied the attempted abduction of another two-year-old on the same day, 12 February. Their trial will begin at Preston Crown Court on 1 November. They were remanded in Liverpool city council care.
