Two boys drowned in separate accidents. Shamen Hutchinson, three, was found dead in a canal marina at Marple, Stockport, Greater Manchester, near his parents' houseboat. Ben Taylor, 15, died after falling into a pond where he had been fishing near Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
