Innes Ireland, the former Grand Prix driver, at the wheel of the first ERA racing car at the Brooklands circuit near Weybridge, Surrey, yesterday. The car, which first raced at the track in May 1934, is expected to fetch up to pounds 300,000 at a Sotheby's auction at the RAF museum, Hendon, north London, on 20 February.
