THE BBC show-jumping commentator Raymond Brooks-Ward died, aged 62, at his home in Cornwall, after a heart attack. The broadcaster, who had recently returned from the Olympics, had been due to commentate on the British Open horse trials at the Princess Royal's Gatcombe Park estate. He is survived by a widow and three sons.
