A tiny pet dog was dragged along a road at 40mph after her owners forgot they had tied her to their car bumper, Bridport magistrates, Dorset, were told. The chiatsu had her paw pads worn away as she bounced down the road for 100 yards until her lead snapped. Alan and Imelda Best admitted causing unnecessary suffering and were each given a six-month conditional discharge.
