A charity director who misappropriated more than pounds 48,000 from the Hospital Fund Appeal Society in Sidcup, Kent, was found guilty at Southwark Crown Court of false accounting and furnishing false information. Janis Mayhead, 44, and her divorced husband Victor, who pleaded guilty, will be sentenced on Friday.
