Mandy Smith, divorced wife of Bill Wyman, the former Rolling Stone, donated a pounds 30,000 engagement ring he gave her to be auctioned for the Help a London Child Appeal held by Capital Radio. It was bought for pounds 15,400 by an unnamed American woman.
