A print worker sacked for running up a pounds 2,500 bill on 0898 chatline numbers at work made the calls because he was lonely, an industrial tribunal was told. Patrick Barber, 53, is claiming unfair dismissal from Horley Press, of Reigate, Surrey, because the company failed to follow its disciplinary procedures.
