Checks follow plutonium leak
Two workers were undergoing health checks and a store room remained sealed off yesterday after a leak of radioactive plutonium at the Atomic Weapons Research Establishment at Aldermaston, Berkshire. It is thought that a canister containing plutonium was dropped and damaged in the store room causing the leak. There is to be an inquiry.
