The Ulster Appeal Court has reserved judgment in its review of the five-year prison term imposed on Susan Christie, a former member of the Ulster Defence, for the killing of her alleged lover's wife.

Christie, 24, was jailed in June for killing Penny McAllister by cutting her throat as they walked together in a forest near Ballymahinch, Co Down, in March 1991.
