The brother of the athlete Linford Christie was acquitted of stealing camera equipment and a mobile phone from a neighbour's flat after five months on remand, but said he had been victimised because of his brother's success. Russell Christie, 30, of Shepherd's Bush, west London, was cleared by Knightsbridge Crown Court.
