A COACHLOAD of passengers was arrested by police yesterday after a driver complained his bus had been hijacked. Today, 22 men are due to appear in court after what began as a stag-night outing.
They were arrested at a police roadblock, on the main A7 route through the Scottish borders south of Edinburgh. Police gave no details of the operation but said it concerned 'the alleged theft of a bus'. The men are expected to appear in court at Selkirk, a Lothian and Borders police statement said.
