Committee on Church finance

The Archbishops of Canterbury and York yesterday announced a committee, chaired by the bishop-elect of Durham, the Rt Rev Michael Turnbull, to examine the Church's bureaucracy in the wake of the commissioners' massive losses from property speculation. It will report in June 1995.
