A man accused over a stabbing at a bingo hall was taken to hospital after he collapsed in court at Newcastle upon Tyne. Malcolm McEvoy, 32, is charged with murdering Lillian Hall, 60, and attempting to murder her daughter Sharon, 23, his former girlfriend. He was remanded in custody.
