10 year old boy 'dragged into bushes and sexually assaulted' in London

The assault is alleged to have taken place whilst the 10-year-old boy was walking to the shops in the evening

A 10-year-old boy has allegedly been dragged into bushes and sexually assaulted by two men in north London, say police.

The assault is alleged to have happened on Steele’s Road in Belsize Park.

Police say that the two men attacked the victim whilst he was walking to the shop in the evening of 11th June. The boy was not physically injured.

A Met Police spokesman said: “Police have been contacted by the mother of a 10-year-old boy who alleged he had been sexually assaulted by two men in the vicinity of Haverstock Hill, at the junction with Steele’s Road, NW3.

“The incident is alleged to have occurred at approximately 8pm on June 11th.

“The boy was not injured. Officers from the Sexual Offences Exploitation and Child Abuse Command are investigating. No arrests, enquiries continue.”
