A 16-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the murder of a businesswoman who died after being attacked in her home.

It is understood that both suspects are relatives of the victim, Assia Shahzad, 40, but police rejected rumours that the murder was an "honour killing". Mrs Shahzad was discovered on Saturday night at her house in an affluent area of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. She was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital with serious injuries but died shortly after 8pm. Detective Chief Inspector Vince Grey of Thames Valley Police said: "There are rumours circulating that this was a so-called 'honour killing'. I would like to categorically state that we do not believe this to be the case but that we are dealing with a domestic dispute."
