Brady rearrested in corruption inquiry
Karren Brady, managing director of Birmingham City Football Club, was rearrested last night by police investigating alleged corruption.
Ms Brady was questioned by City of London officers and released on bail. She was arrested last April, along with the club's co-owner, David Sullivan.
The pair were questioned on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and false accounting but no charges were brought. Birmingham City said Brady "denies any wrong doing."
