Wednesday 12 October 2011 00:00 BST

A woman accused of stabbing a grandmother to death with a butcher's knife did not attend Greenwich Magistrates' Court yesterday because of "extreme" mental health problems.

Nicola Edgington, 31, is charged with killing Sally Hodkin, a 59-year-old legal accounts manager, in a street at Bexleyheath, Kent, on Monday.
