Two charged with robbery over female health worker’s carjacking
Medic allegedly pulled out of her car and threatened with a knife
Two men have been charged with robbery after a female health worker was pulled out of her car and threatened with a knife.
Police were called to reports of a carjacking involving a Ford Focus in West Bromwich town centre, on 10 February.
Officers later spotted the car the next day and gave chase.
They stopped the vehicle using a stinger.
Following the incident, 33-year-old Ben McCaffer of no fixed address, was charged with robbery, dangerous driving and driving without a licence or insurance.
He has been remanded to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on 12 March.
A second man, Aubrey Black, 39, also of no fixed address, has also been charged with robbery and will also appear at the crown court next month.
