Ex-prisoner sought after 'grudge' killing
A man released from jail on Thursday is wanted by police after his ex-girlfriend was wounded and her new partner shot dead in Gateshead a day later.
Raoul Thomas Moat, 37, from Newcastle, was released from Durham prison where he had been jailed for assault. Northumbria police said they thought the attack was motivated by a grudge. Sources said the woman was wounded by a shot through the window of her home, which prompted her boyfriend to go outside, where he was killed.
