Leveson: Dacre to be quizzed about investigator

Friday 03 February 2012 01:00 GMT

The Leveson Inquiry will hear from Paul Dacre, editor of the Daily Mail, on Monday.

He is likely to be asked about the title's extensive use of the private investigator Steve Whittamore, whether its journalists hacked phones, and his views on regulation of the press.

Sue Akers, head of Scotland Yard's inquiry into the News of the World, will also give evidence. She is likely to be asked about the number of hacking victims and the arrests of four Sun journalists.
