Man due in court over car driven into nightclub crowd
A man was charged today in connection with an incident in which a car was driven into a group of revellers outside a nightclub.
Fourteen people were taken to hospital by ambulance last month after the vehicle mounted the pavement outside the Dali Bar in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, and ploughed into clubgoers.
Other casualties later admitted themselves to hospital with various injuries from the incident on October 17.
All the injured were discharged within a few days.
Lee Bradley, 26, of no fixed address, is accused of of dangerous driving, aggravated taking of a vehicle without consent and 18 counts of assault.
He is due to appear at Rochdale Magistrates' Court later today, Greater Manchester Police said.
