Woman arrested after two men found fatally injured at home in east London

Two men have died following a disturbance at a house in east London, police have said.

A 28-year-old woman was arrested at the property after the Metropolitan Police responded to the incident in Ilford in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Officers and paramedics arrived at the house around 4.30am and found two men seriously injured.

“Despite the efforts of emergency services, they both died at the scene,” a police statement said.

“A 28-year-old woman was also found with non life-threatening injuries. She was arrested at the scene. A Taser was deployed during the arrest.”

The woman was taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Next of kin have not yet been informed and no details were released about the identities of the three individuals.

Police said they responded to reports of a disturbance but gave no further information about the circumstances leading up to the woman’s arrest.

Homicide detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime Command have been informed.

A crime scene around the property in Tavistock Gardens remained in place on Sunday morning and police said enquiries were ongoing.
