Murdered man was shot and stabbed

A 49-year-old man whose body was found in a car outside a Chester police station on Saturday had been shot and stabbed, a post-mortem examination has revealed.

A woman, 20, and a man, 22, are being held on suspicion of murder, said a spokesman for Cheshire Police. The man was arrested at the scene and the woman detained in Frodsham.
