Police launch public appeal after two girls sexually assaulted in Nuneaton park

Police are appealing for information after two girls were sexually assaulted in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.

The incident involved two girls both aged under 16, and took place in Riversleigh Park between 5:30pm and 7:00pm on Saturday 18 July.

The victims told Warwickshire Police officers investigating the incident that four teenage boys had attacked them.

The girls are now being supported by specially trained officers, according to police.

The force has urged anyone who has any saw any concerning behaviour involving a group of teenage boys in the park at the time to come forward.

Anyone who has any information about the incident is also asked to contact the police, using the reference number 346.
