Raoul Moat helpers jailed for life

Two men who helped Raoul Moat during his shotgun rampage, which left a man dead and a police officer blinded, have been jailed for life.

Karl Ness, 26, must serve at least 40 years and Qhuram Awan, 23, a minimum of 20 years.

Ness was found guilty of murder at Newcastle Crown Court, and both men were found guilty of attempted murder, conspiracy and robbery.
