Rape detective to stand trial
A former detective working on Scotland Yard's specialist rape inquiry team is to stand trial accused of faking police records.
Ryan Coleman Farrow, 30, a former detective constable, will be charged for 13 counts of misconduct. He is accused of falsely documenting decisions of prosecutors for cases that had not been referred to them.
The prosecution followed an inquiry by the Independent Police Complaints Commission. The charges relate to investigations between 2007 and 2010. Farrow is due to appear in court next month.
