Two charged over pond death

Two men have been charged with murder after a teenager died in a pond.

Dylan Aaron, 17, was found dead on Sunday morning in Wigan, Greater Manchester, by police divers.

David McGrale, 34, of Wigan, is charged with murder and assault, while Drew McGrale, 26, also from Wigan, is charged with murder and criminal damage.

Both men were due to appear at Wigan magistrates' court today.

Police were called to the pond off Ladies Lane, Hindley, shortly after 3.50am following reports that someone had been thrown into the water.
