Two in court over severed hand murder

A man is due to appear at the Old Bailey today charged with killing his estranged wife who was found with injuries including a severed hand.

Geeta Aulakh, 28, died in November last year after being found bleeding in Braund Avenue, Greenford, west London.

Harpreet Aulakh, 31, of Chesterton Close, Greenford, will appear with Sher Singh, 18, of Wren Avenue, Southall, west London.

They are charged with murdering Mrs Aulakh who was attacked as she was walking to pick up her two sons, Tejdeep, eight, and Karam, 10, after leaving work at Sunrise Radio, where she was a receptionist.
