Websites hit by cyber-hackers

A number of websites, including The Daily Telegraph's, were targeted by hackers last night with visitors redirected to a third-party web page. The websites of National Geographic, BetFair, The Register and Acer were also affected. Visitors to the websites saw a message from a Turkish hacking group that read: "We TurkGuvenligi declare this day as World Hackers Day. Hacking is not a crime."
