Witnesses sought after man is wounded in central London shooting

Police have appealed for witnesses after a man was wounded in central London yesterday morning, in St John Street, Clerkenwell.

There were reports of shots being fired. The man, in his early fifties, was rushed to hospital where he was described as “serious but stable”. No arrests have yet been made.
