Woman convicted over Tube killing

Tuesday 28 February 2012 01:00 GMT

A woman on trial over the fatal stabbing of a 15-year-old schoolboy at Victoria Tube station in London has been found guilty of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm.

The Old Bailey jury is still considering a murder count against Victoria Osoteku, 19, after being given a majority direction. She denies the charge.

Sofyen Belamouadden, 15, died after being chased by a crowd of youths in March 2010.

Osoteku, of Deptford, was the only female charged over the attack. Her trial is the latest in a series of court cases involving around 20 youths. It resumes today.
